CLUB
HAPPENINGS:
It
has been a while since our last update have a got a lot to tell you
about. First, Lake Seneca Wine Trip was a great time. We had 45
people on the trip, toured five wineries and had an awesome lunch at the Crow's
Nest Restaurant. Plenty of great wine was had by all, if you interested
in seeing what you missed there's a club video of the day. Yes, there is
a record of everything, scary!!!
This
year's Halloween Party was wonderful, seems lately the weather has been
wreaking havoc on our activities but it didn't stop us from having a phenomenal
party. The Polish Club, Walter did an outstanding job with the
food. Thanks to Walter & Joanie for taking such wonderful care of
us. This year's customers were amazing. Top custom prizes went
to Lady Gaga (Elaine Yarros), Girl Scout & Boy Scout (Audrey Katchur
& friend), Mr. Clean & Mop (Deb Walsh & Tim ),
American Gothic Couple (Rich & Kate Hollenberg. Thanks to everyone
who dressed up, your customs were awesome. I wish I had more prizes. Good
food, music and wonderful friends what more could you ask for.
Lastly
was Night at the Races. Again, it was a great night. We had 43
people attend. This year the party was so large, double last
time, we had to move from the clubhouse to a private ballroom. The
ballroom was fantastic; we had our own private teller, bartender and wait
staff. We had a jumbo screen to watch the races and 4 other smaller
TVs. It was a great party, the food was delicious and no one left
hungry. (Or penniless lol).
As
the year comes to an end I want to thank everyone who attended the club
events. It is because of your participation that
these events are such a huge successful and why we, officers, continue to
plan new ones.

Bylaws state “Members paying dues after October 31 shall pay at the NEW
MEMBERSHIP rates”. However, renewing
members have been given a break by also applying the Bylaw requirement to
include in the roster any members that join “before November 30”. So, any member renewing before November
30th, 2011, will pay the $15-Single or $25-Family renewal rate. After
that date, everyone will be a New Member paying the additional $5 fee. SAVE MONEY

LUPUS SKI DAY AT ELK
MOUNTAIN - JAN. 8, 2012
If you would like to purchase
lift tickets for the Lupus Ski Day please call the Lupus Foundation office at 570-558-2008
or 1-888-99LUPUS. Tickets must be purchased by January 6 and will not be sold
at the mountain. The tickets are for a half day of skiing (12:30 - 4:30 pm or
4:30 to 10:00 pm) and they are only $25.
EPSC 2012 WINTER CARNIVAL ,
JAN.21-28, 2012 UPDATE...
Working on final preparations on the flight
lists. I need everybody to reply to confirm or correct
the names from the flight lists when
I send them. I am taking the names from the applications,
but I am still double checking in
case of typo error or someone forgot to put Jr. or the III, etc.
Again I can't stress enough how important it is to make sure
the names are spelled correct
because of the $150.00
charge to change the spelling. Please bear with me until I get this list
complete and then I will
concentrate on all the other information.
There are still a couple of people who haven't filled out the
application, please do so ASAP and send it to me.
Final payment was due Nov. 3rd. If you have a balance please send that in immediately.
Only two months till we are leaving.
It'll be here before we know it. Shortly I will be sending out information about
how the week is shaping up, other activities, baggage and rentals.
Please be patient it's coming.

sent you with your payments and names from the flight list.

the weekend and sleeps four. Tent sites are less expensive.
Cabins are less work.
Ithaca Festival is going
on these days. Winery tour, Hiking, Music and Arts Festival, cook out, and camp
fires. This past year we had about 30 persons. A
lot of newbees. Best time ever! The newbees had so much fun
they booked the houseboat trip in September and went with us as
well.

in Ithaca had booked their boats again already, as well as the usual crew.
The boat runs about $600
or $700 for the weekend. Plus fuel. Divide this by the number of
occupants.
