SCRANTON SKI CLUB TO CELEBRATE IT'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY ~

Mark your calendar. On November 1st, 2008 the Scranton Ski Club will be holding its 50th Anniversary Celebration at The Ramada Hotel in Clarks Summit. Look for more information as we start the New Year. If you see any former members in your skiing adventures, be sure to tell them about this exciting event.
 
WANTED:  If anyone has photos of any ski club events, trips or members please contact Shari Miller, Club Curator.  I am trying to piece together the club history and would like to make copies for club scrapbooks that will be on display at the 50th anniversary party.  If you have them or know of someone I can contact please call me Shari Miller at 570-760-3872 or 570-822-4707.

12th Annual Ski Stock -- Saturday  July 12, 2008

Summer party at Smith’s Grove (rain or shine).  Start time 12:00 noon.  There is a pavilion, horseshoe pits, ping-pong table, volleyball, darts, two ponds, gas grills, fireplace and lots more.  Roadhouse will be playing.   Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, pretzels, soda and water will be available from noon on.  There will be no caterer, so bring your favorite dish to share.  Grill will be available for those who wish to bring their own food.  THIS IS ONE PARTY YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS.  Cost to members is $10, non-members $15.  Bring your friends – the more the merrier!  Camping over is available for anyone interested- no fee.  Better to be safe than sorry. BYOB, beer will not be provided.
