OLD FASHION SUMMER PICNIC & PIG ROAST
Sunday, July 12, 11AM 'til dusk


PIG ARRIVAL FOR CONSUMPTION AT @ 2PM
Pennbrook Picnic Grove, Overbrook Road, Factoryville
Provided: A FULLY-DECORATED, FULLY-COOKED, EDIBLE PIG


Locally-renowned Pigmeister and Caterer, Member Herbie Yerabek will be at the helm of the delivery & decoration of the MAIN ATTRACTION!!
Also, Hot Dogs and Burgers for the non-pig connoisseurs!


Bring: A Dish to Share and Your Beverages
Activities: Baseball, Horseshoes, Volleyball, Surprise Games, & a few non-physical games (like Jenga, etc) & any games you bring or think up
Here's the Deal on the Grove: We have use of "The Big Shed" which has refrigerator, stove, running water and PRIVATE RESTROOMS!!
Cost: Members - FREE plus price of parking
Non-Members - $5 plus price of parking
Parking Fees: One-person-in-a-car = $3
Two-persons-in-a-car = $4
Each-additional-person-after-2-persons = $0.50
We suggest you either stuff your car with people or just pay what you’re charged!
Hiding in the Trunk is still a Sanctioned Scranton Ski Club Activity!
Reservations: by July 7th (7/7)

so we don't have a ton of potato salad and nothing else.
Non-cooks have no fear - many items are needed such as rolls, paper products, etc. So, call Peggy, our VP in Charge of Reservations!

PARK & RIDE AT EXIT 8 (MT. COBB) OF RT. 84
DESTINATION: HILLER'S AT LAKE QUINN, SOUTH CANAAN


Join the fun driving the new territory offered in this year's Road Rally! Prizes to the top winners and fun for all participants!
Recommended: Vehicle with an accurate speedometer and odometer, a minimum of 2 people. a pencil or pen, the ability to read & follow instructions.
*NOTE: This is a timed event, Not a Race. Adhering to the speed limit is important.
Road Rally Party will follow at the Hiller's. Non-Rally party goers are welcome!
Provided: Burgers, hot dogs and buns
Bring: Your Beverage and a Dish to share.
Activities: Boating, fishing, swimming-in-the-lake, horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, croquet, hammocking, lounging, visiting, eating, whatever!

Houseboats------Gananagua, Canada, 
September 11 -14 (Friday – Monday)


PASSPORT is MANDATORY for entry back to USA

Houseboats sleep 6 persons, but 4 is a better fit.
This is a car pool that leaves at 8AM on Friday Sept 11. from the Scranton Area. 
You arrive at Gananaqua about noon.
You must bring any food and drink that you will need for the week-0end (or buy it in Canada).  The food and drink must be purchased before leaving for the week-end on the houseboats.
We will sail down the St. Lawrence River around the 1,000 Islands, visit Bolt Castle and just camp and have fun.

The houseboat is your home for the week-end.  It has a grill, cooler, propane stove and oven, refrigerator, and bedding.

The price for the RED boat rental is (At today’s exchange rate)
$500. for the week-end.  (Split this by the number of persons on your boat)
   30. insurance    ?? taxes  Plus gasoline costs.
If you never drove a houseboat or a boat at all, they will teach you in 1 hour or less.
You will need about a $300 deposit to reserve the houseboat.
